Crestron AV Equipment Control for even the Smallest Room at the right price.

These are basic classrooms or meeting rooms that historically have not been on the campus network or integrated with the facility's control system because it wasn't cost-effective. Now, with iMedia, even the smallest, most basic rooms can be connected and remotely managed with RoomView software.

iMedia allows even the smallest of room to have all the benefits and features of a full Crestron AV equipment control system without the expense.

By using a cable, it is possible to connect up to 3 PC or DVD/VCR sources to a compact receiver mounted next to a projector and screen and provide full control of which images are shown as well as switching on or off the display.

Because it is Crestron you can also connect it to an Ethernet network to allow remote control from any PC on the network, or remote diagnostics and monitoring. This allows a central office to control or shutdown rooms if needed.

By adding a Crestron Roomview system it is possible to schedule rooms to turn on or off at preset time - no more projectors left on all night. The single cable between all the AV Equipment components makes it easy to install the units and saves the expense of expensive and bulky video cabling.

The units have a connection for a microphone with its own volume control to allow a radio or lectern microphone to be added to any other audio that might be in the room.

A built in amplifier really makes this a one-stop solution. The units also have an input to allow a PIR movement sensor to turn the system off if it does not detect movement within a certain period - a real advantage for energy efficiency and saving wear and tear on AV equipment when it is not required.
